Building Blocks

What kid doesnt like Legos? I know growing up we had a TON of Legos that my brother and I would build with. Honestly I still like to build with Legos! Sadly since my son has been growing up in a digital age he does very little Lego building. But honestly with the price of Legos these days I couldnt afford to supply home with all of the fancy sets anyway!
So...anywho...I saw this card a few times by different people and I always wanted to make some. I added a few extra details to make it my own. The sentiment is heat embossed and I colored it in with my Copics. There was a LOT of punching involved with these cards, but they were fun!

Another Super hero

Here is another set of super hero cards I made! Sometimes kids need to reminded that they are our superheroes whether they are going through a tough time at home or at school or if they are fighting a medical battle. I thought what better way to tell that special little one just how proud you are of them! I really enjoyed making these cards! I also made a few Birthday cards using the same layout.

Super hero #1

I have been working on building up my kid's cards for my inventory. I know there is some debate as to whether Batman is actually a superhero but....he is to me!  I used a few different super sentiments to finish off these cards. They were fun to make but took a while. I had to order the embossing folder and it took a while to arrive.
We are in the middle of the Corona Virus Pandemic. Luckily my children are home safe with me, however my husband still has to work. His job is essential as he works in the prison system.  I pray that anyone out there reading this stays healthy!
Best Wishes!

Warm Winter Wishes

I have a few important people on my Christmas Card list that don't celebrate Christmas. While I do have some snowflake stamps, I don't really have anything I feel like says "Hanukkah". So I went with a different approach with this cute Alpaca. I created the background with Stampin Up inks on Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point and Night of Navy. Then I stamped the snowflake with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The adorable Alpaca was colored with Copics markers. I ADDED glitter to the snow with Tombo Mono Multi liquid glue.
I really love how cute this turned out!

4 x 4 Set of note cards Set 3

Inside:

Here is the third set of cards that I made this week. Like I said I really like these 4x4 sets! This time I used The Sounding Joy stamp set (retired Stampin Up). I stamped the star shaped sentiment with Garden Green and then embossed the "Joy" with Real Red and clear embossing powder. I added a little distressing on the edges and added the white layer to a glimmer green layer.  A few snowflakes on the inside mat finished the cards.

Snow Cool Christmas

It's beginning to look like Christmas in my craft room!!! I am currently hooked on Lawn Fawn Stamps! They are just so cute!!! I found a tutorial by Nichol on Pinterest for a cute card. I loved the look of it and decided to make my own!  I used Lawn Fawn's Snow Cool for the penguins and sentiment. The pine trees are from Lawn Fawn's "Toboggan Together". The snowflakes.and sentiment are heat embossed 9n the vellum. I colored the images with my Copics and cut most of the inages out with my Scan and Cut.
Stay tuned for more variations of this card to come.
