Fairy notebooks

I actually found this in my drafts folder along with another post that I never posted! Oops!
These were mini notebooks I made for a craft show. They were a huge hit and sold out pretty quickly! I need to make some more! The background was done with ink blending and stamps then I added some sparkle with some FSJ silks. The fairy is a die which I actually altered to fit onto the notebook. I loved how these turned out!

Rainbow Card #3

Okay I promise this is the last of the rainbow cards, at least for now! This time I made them into Birthday cards.
I added some crystal effects to the word "Bright" just for some interest.

Here are some additional color combinations I made. Like I said these are a lot of fun to make! And it is fun to mix up the color orders and combinations as well as use the dies at different angles.

Rainbow cards Version 2

I really did have fun with the rainbow card from yesterday! I had gotten carried away trimming all of my scraps so I decided to make more rainbow cards! These pictures didnt come out the greatest as I took them in the middle of the night and the light just wasnt cooperating. Plus in retrospect, I shouldnt have used a pink background but...it is too late now! I again heat embossed the sentiment and colored it with my copics. I used different color combinations and I experimented more with the angle of the curve. Like I said these rainbow cards are fun!!

Rainbow cards

Here is another Pinterest inspired card. This was my first take but I thought it was too much white.
So I went back and added a little heart which I punched and then added UTTE to make it shiny and then added it to the card using pop dots. I had a lot of fun with these cards! And I loved that I could use up a bunch of my scraps! Here are the different color combinations I ended up with.

Christmas Cards a la Lawn Fawn

I made a couple other variations on my last Christmas card. It's basically the same card with different main images.
Below is a cute bunny on a sled:
And here a group of cute fairies:
Then there is a couple of cute reindeer going on a sled ride!
I added some sparkle to this little deer's santa hat.

I used my copics, dies, and BigShot on all of the cards shown.
I have added these to my stash of Christmas cards for upcoming craft shows!

Lawn Fawn shaker card

This was my first attempt with a shaker card. I don't know.... I had a lot of issues with this card! It also took me a wrrk to complete!! The tree and frame are Lawn Fawn's "Leafy tree background". I saw this die in a store but I didn't pick it up and I regretted it. So I ended up ordering it on line not knowing that there were two versions of it. This one was the portrait version. I would have rathered the other, but who knows maybe I will still get it. I used images from Lawn Fawn's "Jump for Jou" as well as "Mom and Me". I colored the images with my Copics. I used my hills die and cloud dies as well. Now here are my issues. First, it annoys me that the tree frame die is exactly 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches. I feel like the die should have been made slightly smaller then an A2 card so that it could be layered onto the card. If it wasn't a shaker card it would be easy to trim down and mat.
Second I had so much trouble getting the color right for the fox. I can't even twll you what colors I ended up using. I just kept layering and layering until the color loomed okay.
Third I wanted a spring card but I really couldn't decide how to fill the space without using the leaf pile. So I ended up taking the original shaker apart and redoing it to make it more Fall like. Below is the Spring version:
My original coloring on the fox, it us too orange! (Yes if I am cutting it out I go out of lines)
So anyway there you have it. Not in love with the result, but it is finished.
