Mini Notebooks - Hang in there!

The third style of books I made yesterday feature the Changito monkey.  I really love these monkeys! So cute!! These are also 4"×6" notebooks and come with a papermate mini pen. So cute!!! 😊

Mini Notebooks - Captain America

After I made the Pokemon books I started thinking about what else I could make. How about super heroes?? So I decided on Captain America! Again these at 4"×6" size and they come with a small papermate pen.
All packaged up and ready for sale.

Mini Notebooks - Pokemon

I needed to add to my mini notebook selections for my craft shows. I didn't have a lot of smaller notebooks  (3"×5" size) but I did have some 4"x6" on hand. I definitely needed more selections for boys. As I sat at my table contemplating what to do, I was thinking of Pokemon and thought "I can totally make that!" So....I did. I really like how these turned out!
All packaged up with a pen.
I only have a few of these available, however I am also going to make a few in the smaller size too.

Wine scented candles in a gift card holder

I really enjoyed making the coffee candle gift card holders, so when I saw these wine scented candles I knew I wanted to make some of these too! For these I extended the part that holds the gift card then added a little "shelf" to hold the card up. I believe I have 4 scents, all wine inspired.

Packaged, tagged and ready to go! Again I chose bakers twine so that they are easier to be re-tied when the giver adds the gift card.

Before and After coffee candles

So here is what I started with. Four different kinds of coffee candles.

I extended the wicks.

Then I broke up some tapers.
And melted them using the double boiler method.
When completely melted I let it cool slightly then whipped the wax
Added the whipped wax to the candles

Cut down and added some green straws from "that coffee place" And Viola, Coffee candles!

Coffee Candles and Gift Card Holder

I have been hard at work making these Coffee Candles in a gift card holder. I bought the coffee candles but wanted to step then up a bit. I will add a before and after photo in a few minutes. I made the box to hold the candle, then added the piece to hold the gift card. I also made the gift tags. Then I put them all together and put them in the bags. I opted for bakers twine to hold it closed so that the person who buys it doesn't need to worry about getting the bow tied after they add the gift card. Ribbon would have been a little harder to tie if they weren't sure how.  I am not a coffee drinker, but I have to admit these candles smell pretty good! The coffee images are from Stampin Up 's Coffee Cafe, snowflakes are from punch pals, Snow Swirled, Serene Snowflakes. Snowflake punch is a retired Stampin Up punch. The tag is an older Spellbinders I believe that I cut out then layered then cut out slightly larger. Then the circle cut out in the base was a stitched circle one that I had on hand.

4 x 4 Set of note cards Set 3

Inside:

Here is the third set of cards that I made this week. Like I said I really like these 4x4 sets! This time I used The Sounding Joy stamp set (retired Stampin Up). I stamped the star shaped sentiment with Garden Green and then embossed the "Joy" with Real Red and clear embossing powder. I added a little distressing on the edges and added the white layer to a glimmer green layer.  A few snowflakes on the inside mat finished the cards.

4 x 4 Card Gift Set

I created these sets of 4 x 4 note cards recently. I had found a tutorial for a set of 3x3 cards by craftycarolinecreates. I didn't really want to make all of those envelopes though!!! Also I already had some 4x4 envelopes on hand. So... I tweaked and measured and tweaked some more and came up with a box for 4x4 cards. The cards are actually smaller then 4x4 so they fit inside the envelopes.
So I made the one with the white snowflakes background first. I punched the snowflake out, then added a small glitter square only behind the snowflake. Then I made a second set with the versamark snowflakes, this time I used glimmer paper for the whole white piece. I used the snowflake punch from Stampin Up (now retured) on both sets. The set with the white snowflakes used Snow Swirled (retired Stampin Up). The versamark snowflake is from Serene Snowflakes (Retured SU). The sentiment on both is from More Merry Messages (Stampin Up). I am having fun with these sets so you will definitely see more of them!!!
I will be packaging them up in some pretty packaging and adding then to my Craft Show items.
